The next environmental mayor of LA is ...

The mayoral election is less than four weeks away, and if you vote by mail, you may already have your ballot in front of you.

With Los Angeles being the second largest city in the country, it’s critical that we elect a mayor who will ensure the continued improvement of public health, transportation infrastructure, sustainable economic progress, and expansion of public parks for millions of Angelenos.

Lucky for voters, there’s not one but two outstanding environmental choices. After finishing our thorough vetting process conducted jointly with our sister organization the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV), we’re proud to endorse both Los Angeles City Councilmember Eric Garcetti and Los Angeles City Controller Wendy Greuel to be the next Mayor of Los Angeles.

Both candidates share a vision of clean sustainable jobs as the key to a healthy, sustainable future for all of Los Angeles.

Either candidate would be a strong environmental leader to succeed Mayor Villaraigosa this spring.

If you have your ballot, please support one of this these two outstanding candidates. If you plan to vote in person, mark your calendar for Election Day on Tuesday, March 5th. The right leaders will help us make a Los Angeles that future generations will be proud of.

Don’t forget to vote!
